Why would you hire someone to help you spend less time on household tasks?

In today’s world there is no lack of information.

This holds true in the space of “productivity” and household work. There are TONS of people who share A LOT of information on the internet. Some of this information is great!

But a lot of people tend to share “one-size-fits-all” solutions or solutions that worked for them in their life.

Can you get a few good tips and tricks to do your laundry in less time? Absolutely!

Can you listen to Kathy tell you all about how she meal plans and how it works so well for her? Yep!

Will this be helpful for you in your life? Maybe. Maybe not.

And maybe you try to copy and paste Kathy’s “life-changing meal planning system” and it doesn’t work for you and you start to think “What’s wrong with me?” or “I must not be as organized/dedicated/smart/capable as Kathy.”

There is nothing wrong with you.

Let me tell you why what worked for Kathy didn’t work for you.

Kathy likely has different pain points than you.

Her system solves her pain points, not yours.

And even if you both had the EXACT same pain points, you are 2 different people living in different houses, presumably with different household members. You can have 2 people with the EXACT same pain points come up with wildly different solutions to those pain points.

When I’m helping someone figure out how they can spend less time and energy on household tasks, I ask a lot of questions. I’m getting a feel for the current reality. I’m trying to understand their preferences and what they value. Ultimately, what I’m trying to understand is: What are their biggest pain points and how can we solve them in a way that works for them?

People’s pain points are very unique. So are the solutions.

Working with me, an objective professional who specializes in this, you get to skip the process of wading through all of the information that might work for you and fast forward to the part where your actually solving for your individual pain points and reaping the benefits (More Time, Less Worry!)

I am very upfront with the folks I work with that I’m not a wizard or a mind-reader. I believe that a valuable part of working with me is implementing something, giving you a chance to try it out for a few weeks in real life and then following up and seeing what we can change to make it even better.

Learning by and being informed by your real-world experience while having a professional in your back pocket ready to offer ideas and answer questions is where the real magic happens. AND you get the accountability of another human you know is going to follow up.

So can you DIY a lot of this and figure out what works for you without a professional. Yes! And I will never discourage anyone from doing this work on their own.

But if your not sure where to start or how these ideas apply to you, I want to help. If you want someone in your court who will listen, offer expertise and solutions and provide accountability and momentum, I’d love to work with you!

Come to a workshop or book a call with me and we’ll work together to help you reclaim your time and your energy.
